HOLD THE PHONE

hold the phone

I thought we were in Iraq to fight Al Qaeda, and we are in Afghanistan to fight Al Qaeda. And now Al Qaeda is in Yemen. Is Al Qaeda omnipotent? Or can it be that Al Qaeda is a modern enemy that does not have a geographical place of origin. That would lead a simple man like me to question why are we (America) sending troops and government contractors to Afghanistan? We are spending money and lives to gain the trust of the local people, who will then reject Al Qaeda? do they really believe that? Do you believe that? I do not believe that and history tells us that old outdated model for fighting this type of enemy will fail.

recent actions by our enemy has to me  proved the type of model we are using to fight this enemy is outdated and must be modified or we will not be successful. Why are we still spending money and risking  lives in Iraq, and Afghanistan if Al Qaeda is still attacking the United States like on Christmas day and at Fort Hood then obviously what we are doing in Iraq, and Afghanistan must be not be working.

If it were not for a passenger on Christmas Day, America would have lost 300 lives and the thought of an airplane exploding over a major American city would be devastating. This means that our system seriously failed. All of the billions of tax dollars spent on DHLS, TSA,FBI and all our military actions failed. Please help me, if you see it a different way let me know.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different outcome

CHOPPING IT UP

CHOPPING IT UP

Waiting to hear what the President has to say about the systemic failure of the intelligence community. It seriously impressed me to hear that he may be  addressing the so called territorial infighting among the United States intelligence community. I mentioned this in my last blog. Having worked with these agencies I can say not only is it completely counterproductive this type of behavior can be deadly for the American people. Would an agency allow a potential terrorist slip through to embarrass a rival agency or person of high standing? I sincerely hope the President will expose this. I believe without a doubt that they would. Any agency that believe the information they gather belongs to them exclusively they believe gives them power, they will do anything to keep the perceived power because this translate into Billions of American tax dollars that will be appropriated to their agency. That is the way business is conducted. We the American tax payer gets hosed paying for information that belongs to us. Just think the information gathered is a product of the agency performing a service funded by the American tax payer. I sincerely hopes Obama exposes this and put a stop to it. Get rid of this old and out maneuvered intelligence model and input people with practical application techniques in key positions streamline the bureaucracy to deal effectively with today’s threat.
Times have changed our enemies are very fluid able to adapt to situations that change. America must have interactive agencies that interacts cohesively to protect America moving forward.
