As a part of my job (security management professional) it is my nature to observe profile and report my findings to the corporation that has retained my services. As a talk show host for 4 years (Hawaii and most recently as a guest host on KXNT Sunday show) I learned to use the same technique , observe, study what I observed and profile the information to form a hypotheses which I attempt to explain on air or on a blog. I use only facts to form my opinion.

I have explained this not to plug myself however to explain what I am about to write. Five years ago I was a member of the Republican Party, being a part of the party I was privileged to the insiders’ e mail s and postings I was a vocal part of the party being somewhat moderate. I began to notice a change in the party they began to identify with the far right, the speech became more defensive, aggressive not bases on fact or truth. this really concerned me. After a few conversations with party leaders in Hawaii reading national postings and listening to the talk show hosts, I found that I did not agree with the way the party was clearly heading, most importantly they were not positioning themselves to represent the American people, but to clearly represent the corporations of America. I broke all ties registering as an Independent
My deepest fears about the Republican Party have seemed to come to fruition. They have seemed to fully embrace the radical far right of the party and worse it appears they have adopted a scorched earth policy. Using the radicals to usher in an atmosphere that lacks respect for authority absent of decorum which uncheck will lead to anarchy. Enlisting the assistance of powerful lobbyists groups to form clandestine plans to organize the radicals to appear as grass roots organization and disrupt what should have been a true debate on healthcare reform instead reduced to shouting matches.
The atmosphere the republicans seem to be creating is seriously dangerous for our country.
This week Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi pleaded with the republicans to lighten the tone of opposition as she and most people who are observing the result of the angry, aggressive irresponsible speeches and actions of the republican party warning it could easily lead to violence . The response from of the republican Minority Leader John Boehner seemed to support the actions of the radicals of his party moving the radicals from the far right fridge to mainstream. Many of these groups want a civil war, most are white supremacists advancing a race war mentality. Caught in the middle are people who are afraid that their race will not be in the majority in the near future and afraid of what that means to them as people. They are good people being hoodwinked by professional hoodlums, manipulated by master manipulators who do not have their best interest in mind.
I ask if Americans are angry as John Boehner said they are why are they angry with the current administration. The administration that caused Americans to lose jobs plunged the stock market, allowed banks to offer adjustable rate loans, bailed out banks and for the first time in American history bailed out an insurance company and finally destroy the American economy was a Republican administration.

Simply the anger is misplaced.

At last someone has said what many of Americans have been whispering since the Obama campaign
If you look at the signs at the Tea Bag march or any of the right wing rallies the pictures and the words from the right wing is not so much about the Health care reform it is a deep seated hate for Obama. The hatred is not of the Democratic Party it is fear that the perceived power the so called great white race has lost its grip. Do not get me wrong it is not all white people it is the ones that are racists at the core.
I have said for years America is extremely racist the laws just pushed the racist actions underground so that on the surface the atmosphere seemed calm but under was a turbulent dangerous fringe that are now bubbling to the surface.
The republicans have created an atmosphere that they now must deal with. They will not separate themselves from it because the fringe has become the base. Corporations like Freedom Now who organized the disruptions at the so called health care debates have created a toxic environment where there are no respect or rules. The media has assisted with the creation of this atmosphere by giving air time to the wing nut fringe and keeping them in the news cycle. One of the organizations that helped finance the Teabag march on Washington on its website is calling for an all out armed revolution against the government and state separation as they quote the civil war did not end it was just a cease fire..
Not only the wing nut fringe is believers in the civil war but members of congress and many politicians agree also The Party of Lincoln is dead and will never be the same, they are loosing members and voters at volume number we are living in a very dangerous time I pray God Bless America . I also am going to keep my powder dry.

TIME TO TAKE IT TO THE STREETS.

I have not blogged in a while I took time to observe the things that were going on in America and in my own life.

The President’s speech on healthcare to the Congress was masterful, all he has to do now is get the intestinal fortitude to tell the republicans that he does not need their vote and stop trying to appease them with the “can we all just get along “crap, the answer is no we cannot. He will not be able to stand in front of Congress and declare “they like me , they really like me “ they do not and never will. If you have viewed the movie Independence Day with Will Smith think of the scene when the President was talking to the alien attempting to make “nice , nice "and he asked the alien “what do you want us to do “? The alien answered ….DIE. That is what the republicans want Obama to do, nothing he will ever do will please them. So instead of attempting to win people over that want to see him dead, I would suggest he represent the people who put him in office. As for the Blue dog Democrats and the democrats that are not on board with the President’s plan We the people need to send them a message “The money the insurance companies give you to run a campaign is great, but you cannot get back into office without our votes”. It is time for them to do something for us the working class people.
Speaking of the working class people it is time for us to get off of the couch get from behind the computer desk and take it to the street (peacefully) we have to attend every rally, write the news paper, flood the conservative radio stations with the facts and flood our representative office with letters ,
During my time off I joined Organize America I volunteered at a rally that Harry Reid held. And I am volunteering at a rally this week I feel a sense of urgency, this reform must pass and the Freedom of choice for American working people must also pass. I want to know that I did my part to help not just sit on the sideline and either reap the benefits, or complain that my healthcare costs have quadrupled if the reform fails and my employer has decided to reduce my pay and increase my work load.
All good men have to do for evil to prevail is to do nothing .
